Helpa Dress PDF Sewing Pattern

The HELPA slip-on dress is a beginner friendly pattern, especially if you want to learn the art of making French seams (which is how all seams in this piece are finished). When purchased, the downloadable pattern comes in three sizes. You can choose a smaller ease for a snug fit or a larger size for an oversized look. The pleats at the waist create a silhouette designed to fit different body types. With loose and open sleeves, the dress allows plenty of space for layered outfits.

Fabric Recommendations:

Choose light to medium weight non stretch woven fabrics such as linen or viscose. The black sample is made from 100% linen (5.9 oz/200 gsm) and the white sample is made from a light cotton crepe. Both fabrics are from the designer’s stash.

Fit and size:

HELPA is a loose-cut design that comes in three sizes. Choose your size based on your waist circumference. Add a recommended positive ease of approximately 4.5–14.5″/12–37 cm. You can choose a smaller ease for a sng fit or a larger size for an oversized look.

Fabric Requirements:

For sizes 1–3 (4–6) (7–9): Dress fabric: width 55″/140 cm, length 73 (101) (107)” / 186 (257) (272) cm

After purchasing, you will receive a link to download and print the digital pattern in tiled and layered A4 and A0 size for home printing.
